Albert Warden

After High School I attended USU and WSU. During this time period Uncle Sam caught me dropping a class and the penalty was 2 years in the Army. The Army sent me to visit South East Asia for a year. ( I wouldn't recommend it because some of the natives who populated that area were very hostile.)

I have been married twice. The first marriage was a failure. However, I adopted the first wife's son Brian. My current and forever wife, (Connie), is a wonderful women. I am very grateful to have her. She keeps me on an even keel. We have been married for 34 years. Connie had a young son, Court who I adopted.

We have had two children together. Our daughter Sara was born premature. She passed away during August of 1981 ten days after her birth. Our youngest child is Darick who was born during September of 1983. He and his wife decided not to have any children.

Our oldest son Brian died in the VA Medical Center of an undiagnosed illness. He fought during the first Gulf War in Iraq. The VA doctors suspect that he may have been exposed to a nerve agent. He suffered from widespread pain and many other symptoms that could not be fully attributed to any particular disease or illness. Brian died at the age of 42.

We have three Grandchildren, Sara Jane 10, Fisher Earl 9, and the youngest is named Jaspen rain. He is 2 years old going on 16. All Three have beautiful red hair. Our two sons Court and Darick were red heads before they went bald. They both shave their heads now.

I worked at the Department of Veterans Affairs for about 32 years. I retired in 2006. I meet the "guys" for coffee most every week. We chew a lot of fat and spread a lot of manure. Some weeks hip waders are required to make it into the airport cafe.

I started playing golf a few years before I retired. I did this so I would have an interest or hobby to look forward to during retirement. However, my body doesn't fully support my golfing ambitions and my scores have out paced my age. The aches and pains limit the amount of golf I can get away with. I find myself reading more lately!
