LaWana Rees (Tyler)
After graduation, I attended Weber State College for two years then transferred to BYU for three more years. I graduated with a BS degree in Elementary Ed and Art. I also met my best friend and the love of my life, Val Tyler. I taught for Ogden City School District while Val was in Vietnam. After his return home we headed back to BYU for his teaching certification and advanced degrees. I have 40 years of classroom experience under my belt and loved ... almost every minute of it. I retired from the classroom in 2009 to pursue other interests (Family History). I LOVE doing Family History for my family and others.
We have 5 children and 11 grandchildren. They are the central focus of our life.
We have lived in Evanston Wyoming for the last 34 years. Here we have been active in Schools, Community, Boy Scouts of America, and the LDS Church.
There are many outstanding memories of the last 50 years. My sweetheart in Vietnam, my trip to England in 1999, and our LDS Mission to Alabama. Add to these the births, deaths, and marriages of our children.
Life has been great, even with its ups and downs. I can say with a smile "No Regrets".
