Career, Education, Military Experience:
After leaving Weber High I attended Weber State College graduating with a degree in History in 1972. In October 1973 I started with Roy City as their Animal Control Officer retiring after 33 ½ years in the spring of 2007. While working in this field I was active in the Utah State Animal Control Officers Association where at various times I served as President, Vice President, Secretary/Treasure and Member of the Board of Directors for over twenty years. I married my wife Edith Ward in December of 1973. We are the parents of five children, and grandparents of seven. I have been active in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saint throughout my life and have served in many callings on the Ward and Stake level. My Wife and I erved as Area Support Missionaries in Family Search for six years and are currently serving at the Ogden Regional Family Search Library and also are ordinance workers at the Ogden Utah Temple.

Favorite Memories of Weber High:
I think my favorite memories of Weber High are the friends I made. I remember hanging out in the halls during lunch with Gary Lowder and Rodney Hadley. I also have many other Friends that I have associated with at school and down through the years.

Have you traveled? where? why?:
After I retired my Wife and I took the opportunity to travel in Europe. We visited with our Son who was working on his Masters degree in Prague, Czech Republic; and also took a short trip to Switzerland where my wife had served as a Missionary. Then a few years later we again went to Prague and helped with Our Son's family at the Birth of his Daughter. He was working on his Doctorate at that time. We also make a couple of trips a year to San Diego to visit our oldest Son's family. We really enjoy or Grandchildren.

Hobbies/Interests:
My wife and I are genealogist and spend a lot of time in that pursuit. I also enjoy reading and working around the house; we built our own home and enjoy the maintenance and upkeep.
