OBITUARY JUNE PENMAN JOHNSTUN

June Penman Johnstun died peacefully at the Twin Falls Health Care Center in Twin Falls, Idaho at the age of 61 on February 2, 2009 after a short tough struggle with cancer.

June was born to James Andrew and Erma Electa Charlton Penman on September 27, 1947 in Ogden, Weber County, Utah. She was raised in West Weber, Utah. June attended Stevens-Henager College where she earned her bookkeeping degree. She married David Earl Johnstun on September 18, 1969 and soon after moved to Filer, Idaho where they spent the last 39 1/2 years.

June retired from the Twin Falls Public Library with 34 years of service. She was currently working for Quality Door and Windows.

She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She and David served a mission in Florida. June served in many positions in the church,
especially with the youth, where she touched many lives through her love and dedication.

She is survived by her husband, David and her sister and brother-in-law Barbara and Neil Talbot of Reno, Nevada. She is also survived by her brother-inlaws Richard Kynaston, LaMar Isaacson and Ralph Lutz from the Ogden Utah area.

She is preceded in death by her parents and sisters, Alice Kynaston, Ruth Isaacson, and Paulene Lutz.

A viewing will be held at the White Mortuary "Chapel by the Park" on Thursday, February 5, 2009 from 6 until 8 p.m. The funeral will be held at the Filer Stake Center at Thurman and Midway at 1 p.m. on Friday, February 6, 2009 with a viewing prior to services from 11:30 to 12:30. Interment will be at the West Weber Taylor UT Cemetery, on Saturday, February 7, 2009 at 1 p.m.
