Karen Kump (Bills)




Career, Education, Military Experience:
For 6 years I had a preschool in our home. I had 72 children a year. In the summer, I tutored math and reading. I carried 55 children. Then I worked for Continental and Eastern Airlines in their payroll Departments. After a variety of other jobs, I went to work in the mortgage business. I worked as a loan officer for 19 years. I have completed 3 years at BYU as a math major. I graduated from Stevens Henegar as a legal secretary. Still working on graduating from BYU.

Favorite Memories of Weber High:
I smile still thinking of Greg German tiptoeing through the tulips. Also, I remember Have Simmons crawling across the road to McDonalds after his friends removed his crutches It was a joke. I remember thewonderful good people that attended school there. So many of which are still in my mind and my heart!

Have you traveled? where? why?:
We were in the Air Force when we first got married. We lived in Phoenix, Albuquerque, Indianapolis, Arlington, and Denver. My husband went to Vietnam. We then moved to Japan. After returning from there we mainly raised our children in the Sandy Draper area. Now we live in Midway, Utah
Traveled to 13 European countries as a BYU folk dancer while in college.

Hobbies/Interests:
I love playing tennis, reading, and traveling. When my children were growing up we loved watching their sports and dance. Now baby siting and working in the temple are our favorite activities.
Favorite activity.. Being with Family!!!
