Favorite Memories of Weber High:
Decorating for dances, working on elections making posters until the wee hours of the morning, football games and yelling so loud we couldn't talk for days and the outlandish assemblies, like the beard growing contest every year.

Have you traveled? where? why?:
I didn't travel much when I was younger. My family did a lot of camping and fishing. We did travel to Yellowstone a couple of times. I flew to Kentucky to help a sister move and saw the raceeway where the Kentucky Derby is run. When our youngest completed her mission we traveled to St. Petersburg, Russia to pick her up. We spent 12 days there trying to take in part of the sites. Two years later mydaughter and I returned this time to Moscow, Russia. Since my husband died in 2010, I have traveled to Hawaii with a sister and her husband, and the next year I traveled to Italy, with a sisster and her family. We went on a 7 day cruze. We visited Croata, Greece, and Turkey. In Venna we took a ride on a gondola and visited Cathedrals. We then traveled to Switzerland and stopped at the Temple in Bern. Normandy, France was our next stop where we stayed with a family in a home built in the 1600's. We visited the Normandy Beach Memorial and the graves there. On the way home we stopped in Paris and visited the Eiffil Tower. Then we headed home. This year we traveled to Denver, Colorado to attend a Nephew's wedding. I will also be returning to Hawaii in April. My youngest daughter is expecting twins so I will be traveling to Roswell, New Mexico in May.

Hobbies/Interests:
I have had to give up Horseback riding, but I love horse. I still draw them and sometimes have a few in my pasture. My newest interest is hand quilting. I spend a lot of time quilting at the Senior Center, quilting with the friends I have made there. I am a substitute cook and driver for meals on wheels too. I love to spend time with my kids every chance I get. A friend is trying to get me back into painting but I haven't got there yet.
